Landed in sunny Maspalomas in Gran Canaria around 4pm in the afternoon after a 3 hour delay Evil or Very Mad

Wasn't happy about that! But upon arrival me and the hubby breathed a sigh of relief as we realised we wern't going to be living in a broken down shack for the weekend but a rather nice hotel which turned out to have it's own little bungalows so I was happy as I got to set up home there for a week Very Happy

Pool area was gorgeous, generally a nice place and got to tell Dave 'I told you so!' As he doesn't believe in these internet booking things Rolling Eyes

First Day: Got their quite late so just had a stroll around the resort Very Happy

Second day: Decided to head for the beach but made sure to stay away from the Nudist area Icon_sm3

Had fun there but worst was to come...nasty evil beach Evil or Very Mad

Or maybe, stupid, silly Dave and Hayley wearng factor 8 suncream on their first day Icon_rollseyestar

Third Day: The burn came out!!!!!!!!!! Omg the pain!!!!!!!!!!! I couldn't walk and that's no lie, my legs were red, swollen and so burnt that I couldn't move them Icon_crystar

Poor Dave's chest and back were also burnt so he was in a lot of pain too. So there we were, walking very slowly around, feeling sorry for ourselves!

Fourth Day: Pretty much the same as the third but my legs were actually ok when I got outside so was able to sunbathe and swim. Poor Dave still couldnt come out the shade and we were both now plastering on the factor 15 sunscream like traditional tourists!! But dopey me - (Again!) went and burnt, you guessed it - boobs!!! Well underneith them! Didn't start hurting until....

Fifth Day: THE PAINNNNNNNNNNNN!!!!!!! MY BOOOOOOOOBBIIIEEESSSSS!!!!!!! The burn was red raw and hurting so much i found it hard to breathe. However, we had a boat trip booked today so I perked up a bit when I saw the lovely pods of dolphins swimming around our boat Icon_laugh

Dave was ok by now and starting to turn a lovely golden colour (Lucky t***!!) Went out on the evening and yes, me got drunk! Icon_eusa_dance

I was dancing away in one bar whilst Dave just looked on lol! Unluckily for me I drank so much that I threw it all up when we got back...niiiicccccceeeee!!!!!!! Icon_undecided

Sixth Day: Boobies still hurty and burny but went to Aqualand!! So me was splashing around in a pool all day Mr. Green

Quite funny on one of the rides because me & D got a bit stuck! Our little dinghy inflatable think didnt go where it was supposed to so we had to push ourselves around again to go down the slide lmao Laughing

Very fun day though, especially wafting around the little lake on a rubber ring whilst Dave pushed me Rolling Eyes

Found a very good chinese restaurant tonight for a buffffaaaayyyyy! My plate was 10ft high and still had room for ice cweam! Icon_sm9

Seventh Day: Our last day *sniff sniff* Icon_crystar

Spent it by the pool & generally feeling pissed off that I was going home! Had a disaster in the kitchen, what would have been a nice maccaroni cheese turned out to be a burnt mess! The bloody hobs were wrong I tell ya! My cheese sauce had burnt within two minutes!!! Stupid foreign hotel cooking thingys! Icon_sm11

Two mouthfulls and I was ready to spew again, whole lot went in the bin, as I don't think even the stray cats would have been interested....

Overall, very relaxing, lovely holiday despite the pain, I am now sitting with savlon rubbed all over my boobs but hey lol! No crude jokes guys, the pain is bad! Crying or Very sad

Sounds like your holiday consisted of wallowing in pain from the sunburn, and exploding disasters in the kitchen! Shocked
