I have never used net-model before but decided to have a look tonight after various recommendations. this may sound really stupid but as i have always gone to photographers direct i dont quite understand the types of pay! Embarassed

by test shoot does that mean both parties work for free, and is pay to pay the tog?!

Click negotiable hunny.

You can test shoot with some photographers and they may use you for future paid projects.

TFP is where both parties work for free but this can sometimes get mixed up with test shoots and some photographers regard them the same.

If you click negotiable it means you'll negotiate either paid work or tfp with all photographers depending on the work offered x

well i was thinking of having some pics done by Alan Strutt, would a test shoot mean that neither gets paid but he can sell the pics on? if he sold the pics do i get a percentage or would i purely be to boost my portfolio?

Not added myself to it yet, i had just browsed through it as i wanted to get an idea of what it is first.

Well a test shoot is only ment to be a couple of shots to see how well you come across on camera there would be no need for a photographer on a test shoot to take hours of photos if its purely a test.

With Alan i think he basically test shoots you to see if your suitable for page 3 or paid work he has which would mean it isnt paid. The photographer always owns the copyright on pics so he could do what he wanted with them really although if its purely a test then i doubt they would be used for sales although im not a tog so i dont really know LOL xx
