Well me and my bf have split up :?
I didn't exactly do it the best way but I think it's the right thing to do.
As you know I'm going to uni in Kent which is 4 hours from me so I'll probably be able to come home around two weekends a month...to me this just can't be enough to keep a relationship going.
I thought it was best to end it now so I have some time to get myself together before going so that I don't have to split with him right before I go and be in bits at uni (like i will be anyway!)
Not exactly looking for advice but thought I'd pop this in here :( |

Awww sweetie, i agree long distance dont work.... i know some people somehow manage it but its totally not my thing....
Im sure you did it for the right reasons for yourself x

| awww yeah thats completely understandable! just do what you feel like will do best for you! even when it dont seem right but maybe when your far from him you might realize how much you love him maybe?? and endup getting back together! you just never know! but yeah i guess its the best thing to do for you! if thats what you want! |

Ya done the right thing in that respect hun, I tried doing more or less the same thing, and couldn't work only seeing them every 2 weeks.

one of my only really serious relationships ended in pretty much the same way :cry:
in the end its the best... both able to move on ...
have fun when the other half isnt around.
even though your upset now it was most probably the best option

I can't split up now knowing what will happen or not so we're just gonna stay together like we want and deal with it when it comes!

maybe your strong enough to survive the long distance...
you wont be at uni forever...
