I do hope you have enjoyed seeing the shows through my photo's and hopefully I will be
around to take many more in 2006.

Hopefully you'll get some of me next year! Although I couldn't walk around in a skimpy bikini like some of those models do :shock:

Yeah, they are all lovely girls and I'm pleased to say that I know most of them, or have photographed them at several shows :D

The D1 at Silverstone only had two there, Kimberley Cooper and Tyler Tate, but i suppose that time wasnt about the girls lol, more about the drifting :D

I only could make it to 2 shows in 2005 and they were Trax and D1, Hope to attend more in 2006 though :D

My Son was at the D1 at Silverstone, he came to Japshow Finale with his girlfriend, he got some great cars pics with my Fuji digital, so I shot all mine with my Nikon F75 film camera, then I had the crazy idea to write a funny show report! here it is folks.
Japshow.
Paul Bell has suggested that he will introduce me to the art of photographing Churches! which gave me the idea for this show report and the photo's I took on the day.

The Sermon of the Poet.

And it came to pass that on the ninth day of the tenth month, the faithfull did gather at the Cathedral of Speed, that shall be forever known as Santa Pod Raceway.
By every means possible they journeyed to that place for a great celebration heralded as the Japshow Finale!
Vestal virgins did mingle with the crowds calling the younger men to utter such prayer as "Oh my god! will ya look at the t*ts on her?"

to which his friend spake forth verrily "my name isn't Will, and where the f**k d' ya think I'm looking?!
Chariots from far and wide did speed forth along the one thousand cubitt length of the great hall of the Cathedral

And as the Sun passed over the highest point in the heavens the faithfull did make their way to the highest points to pay homage to the great golden chariot of the High Priest of Speed, Martin Hill.
They watched in stunned silence as the great chariot was taken the most holiest of holy places, "The Boost Lane"

And the servants did recoil in terror as tongues of fire and the sound of thunder vented forth from the chariot!

Much prayer was spoken by the servants (pit crew) as the chariot leapt forward with the strength of ten thousand stallions!

As the great chariot came closer to that place where I was standing, I did my utmost to capture it's likeness!

And so it was that the great chariot moved with such swiftness that it could no longer be seen until the black shroud opened as a mighty cloud behind it, and thus bring it silently to rest. <<<< alright, it's a Gibson parachute but just go with the flow!>>>>>
There was tumultous cheering as it was proclaimed that the Hight Priest had once again journeyed the thousand cubitts in a time that only the chosen ones ever manage! "into the fives" (5.9 seconds 261 mph)
It then came to pass that a sign was witnessed in the heavens that the "Feast of the Immortals" was about to begin!

The one on the front of the new Max Power mag! err, no mate, just checked through my prints and I didn't get that one :?
The crowds that day were some of the bigggest I've seen at Santa Pod :D

Fastest Evo in the world i think

Could well be mate, I know we have the World's fastest, Subaru, Mini and Jet car, most of the pro class Jap cars are Europe's quickest with a lot in the nines.
I saw the final at Redline Rumble when Leon Green ran into the nines and 147 mph, awesome performance considering it was a scorching hot day 8)
I had a face like a lobster when I got home :lol:
